We welcome the uniqueness that any candidate can bring to our organization in terms of education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs. We welcome candidates that help us build and maintain an anti-racist and anti-oppression environment, and who help prioritize joy in the production process. GENERAL ADULT SUBMISSIONS
At this time, we are casting on a show by show basis, so if you'd like to be informed of when casting notices go out, please fill out and submit through our adult talent form.
If you have any questions or need an accommodation, please contact our Artistic Coordinator, Kavin Moore, at Kavin.Moore@MarriottTheatre.com. Any submissions sent to our casting email will be directed to the online form. This is to best collect the valuable information we need to cast you.
In an effort to be eco-friendly, we will not be accepting mailed submissions as of 10/1/2021. Also, please no phone calls or solicitation.
YOUNG PERFORMER Auditions
The question most asked at the Marriott Theatre is with regard to young performers performing in shows. We do often have young performers, or those under the age of 18, in shows here at the Marriott Theatre. We audition them much in the same way as our adult performers, except we rarely have open calls for young performers.
At this time, we are casting on a show by show basis, so if you'd like to be informed of when casting notices go out, please fill out and submit through our online young performer submission form so we can gather all the information we need.
YOUNG PERFORMER HEADSHOTS AND RESUMES
Because so many parents are interested in having their young performers audition, we will explain what should be included in a picture and resume:
The picture does not need to be professional. Any recent picture, preferably 8 x 10, is acceptable. Keeping this picture up-to-date with us is critical, as it is important that we see what they look like now, and not several years ago.
The resume should include the following information:
- Name
- Age
- All experience with acting
- All experience with singing
- Any special awards or recommendations
- Parent names and contact information
A sample resume is included here to give you an idea of how you might format a resume.
If unable to email, we will accept hard copies. Please address your submission to:
