A native of Cleveland, Ohio, now residing in Chicago. Since moving to Chicago his credits include Sweat u/s (Goodman Theatre); Gem of The Ocean u/s (Goodman Theatre); Familiar u/s (Steppenwolf Theatre); Lindewe u/s (Steppenwolf Theatre); Two Trains Running (Court Theatre); Ethiopian American (Definition Theatre); Regional Theatre credits, Morning After Grace (Indiana Repetory Theatre); TV/Film credits “Chicago PD” (NBC), “Underdogs” (Netflix). Joseph is the recipient of Black Theatre Alliance's Ossie Davis award and a two time Jeff nominee. Joseph is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
