Feathers Fly in DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS -- THE MUSICAL!

The perfect show for children of all ages, Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences invites families to hop aboard this delightful one-hour musical.

DON'T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS! THE MUSICAL! Is adapted from the award-winning book by Mo Willems.

Using a combination of puppets and live actors, the story comes to life with lively music directed by Lorenzo Rush Jr., choreographed by Matthew Weidenbener, with music direction by Otto Vogel.

Poor Pigeon. He never gets to do anything he wants like eat his favorite, a hot dog or drive a bus filled with passengers.

But he gets a chance to earn his wings when the bus breaks down and the Bus Driver might delay her passengers.

Can Pigeon rise to the challenge? You bet!

With his nagging and pleading, Pigeon finally gets a chance to show his worth with the audience cheering him on!

This production stars Matty Bettencourt as Pigeon, Lydia Burke as the Bus Driver with a supporting cast of Dan Gold, Leah Morrow, Tommy Rivera-Vega, and Allison Sill in a variety of roles. Bettencourt plays Pigeon with poise navigating both his own movements and the movements of the puppet. Burke leads with strong vocals and a charismatic presence to the rest of the cast. It’s fun and full of laughs.

The kids' favorite part is after the show when they get to ask questions about the performance.

“This production is a feather-filled extravaganza that is both hilarious and heartwarming,” said director Lorenzo Rush Jr. “The show shows kids that the journey is often beset with bumps and detours along the way, but in the end, we all find our purpose.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to show your youngsters the joy of live theatre.
